Regent's Park
Regent's Park is one of London's most popular
spots - a huge expanse of greenery that transports
the visitor away from the bustle of city life. Confiscated
from the church by Henry VIII, the park is a well-designed
example of Georgian landscaping.
With 400 rose varieties in the formal layout of Queen
Mary's Gardens, an open air theatre where Shakespeare
is performed in summer, the ever-popular canal,
and the London Zoo in the north-eastern corner,
Regent's Park has something to offer everyone.
