Health & Fitness
Despite their reputation as couch potatoes (largely
true), the British are increasingly waking up to
the benefits of fitness centres and healthy living.
In recent years a number of high quality fitness centre
chains have sprung up around the UK, with most having
numerous sites in London. Most have a swimming pool,
cafe, and additional services such as sports massage
and personal trainers.
Most fitness centres will charge you a joining
fee, and then a monthly fee which will
probably be direct-debited from your bank account.
Prices vary wildly - as do services offered - so do
shop around.
Fitness Centres
LA Fitness Centres have popped up around London in
the last 3-4 years, with new centres opening regularly.
