Anzac Day - Tours
A number of tour companies offer ANZAC-themed tours,
principally to Gallipoli on the north-western coast
of Turkey. Tours can range from a quick 'once
over lightly' backpacker experience to an expertly
guided historical review of the battlefields and surrounding
locations. Tours to northern France can also
be taken, although most of these deal with the conflict
in general, rather than the ANZAC's specifically.

Holts Tours offer more comprehensive tours
for those interested in the historical and military
background to the First World War. 3 and 4 day tours
to the Northern France 'killing fields' of the Somme
and Ypres operate from March through to October. These
tours are expertly guided to give first time travellers
