Arriving In The UK
Arriving By Air
You'll probably be tired and grumpy by the time
your plane finally lands in London, but the journey
isn't quite over yet. In fact, the arrival procedures
are the most important part of your journey, as
your answers and actions could determine your right
to stay in the UK.
You will have been handed a UK Landing Card
on the plane - this should be filled out prior to
landing and in full. You should also have your passport
to hand, and it is helpful to have the Landing
Card inserted like a bookmark on the passport page
that contains your visa for entry to the UK. Minimising
delays at the immigration queues is always a good
idea.
