Live Ins
A number of employers offer live in accommodation
as part of the deal. Live in's are not uncommon
with childcare, domestic work, and barwork positions.
One thing to note is that live-in accommodation is
rarely an 'extra' – the actual pay received will
generally be low, although other features such as
the use of a car and/or some free meals may be included
in your package.

Home Exchanges
Home exchange networks have operated for a number
of years, and typically help to co-ordinate house
swaps between vacationers or long term travellers
from different countries. This is of course a great
way to save on accommodation expenses and to live
in a 'proper home', but of course you must entrust
your home to strangers as part of the deal.
